  This is a great place to stay, close (within a brief walk) to the heart of downtown.
  
  The proprietor is a very positive, helpful, wonderful soul!
  
  The breakfast was quite enjoyable, and the rooms were incredibly clean. We stayed for two nights.

  Al and Greta themselves make this stay worthwhile even with the great breakfast and convenient location. It felt like a home away from home. We will recommend a stay at Algret House with our friends who are planning a visit to Ireland.

  My wife and I really enjoyed staying here! The room was wonderful and the location is perfect. Gretta was a one of the best hostess's that we have ever met. The staff made our breakfast a very memorable time. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast as it is a must to the Ireland experience.

  Greta is awesome! She is sweet and fun. The beds are good. Rooms are super clean. And the breakfast is over the top! Great service with a smile. She makes sure you are served well. She made homemade scones for breakfast that were to die for! Really enjoyed! Would definitely stay there again. The only drawn back would be, you could hear noise from other room. But in a full B&B, could be expected. Definitely worth it.

  I would give 6 stars if possible. Greta’s B&B should be held up as the perfect example of an Irish B&B. If you plan on staying in Killarney, definitely book at the Algret house. Don’t forget to try Greta’s amazing scones.
